There are so many great reasons to take the family on a vacation to Michigan. The state has so many attractions to offer family visitors that all you need to decide is what type of vacation you want to experience.
If you like the great outdoors, Michigan has a unique network of public Off-Road Vehicle (ORV) roads/trails where people can drive motorcycles, ATVs, 4x4 vehicles and snowmobiles in winter. Of course, a Michigan family vacation can also focus on hiking, hunting, beaches in the summer and many boating activities.
Detroit is known for the auto industry, but there are great museums like the Children's Museum to take the kids, water parks in the summer and casinos for the adults.
