We're very pleased to announce Kingsolo as our first GPS Road Trip Contest winner! His trip, Roadtrip to Conference in San Antonio, TX, had the most depth and details from all the hundreds of entries we received. But what really helped in the decision-making was his other trips!
His Washington D.C. trip was so detailed that the editor shared it with everyone in the office, saying, "Now here's a Tripwiser after this editor's
heart!".
We sent Chris Solomon his GPS, which we hope he received in time to go on his other great family outing, A Smoky Mountain Christmas Roadtrip.
Last year, Chris experienced a bad trip & he vowed to never have that happen again. That's when he found Tripwiser and immediately began planning & building...and having a grand time doing it. And when he went on his first Tripwiser planned trip, he noted, "This turned out to be the BEST trip me or my family have ever been on! It's still the talk of my family, and probably will be for a while to come!"
So when we contacted him to congratulate him on the win, he was "pretty surprised" (I guess the great trip was its own reward :>). Chris said of his win, "My wife & sister-in-law are still raving about the trip I planned on Tripwiser! Thank you for helping me plan a complete trip to a place I knew nothing about! No more searching through endless webpages for useless information! I'm sold on your site and will never have to experience a poorly planned vacation again!"
GREAT TRIPS, NO SWEAT!
I think When you plan to go for a long road trip, don't forget two things GPS gadget and your favorite audio books.Because There are unexpected things along the roads such as bad cops, weird laws, winding roads... etc. Those things can make you go crazy and the accident will happen. I think travel audio books can calm you down especially audio books about the places you 're going to. You will feel like someone telling you a story.
