The picture above shows how much our dog loved going to the beach!  We were still getting the beach towels together when she decided we'd taken long enough to get going already!

In the summer of 2006, I drove from Phoenix to Portland, OR with my two sons and our 1 year old golden retriever. My husband flew into Portland for the drive back. I was nervous about taking our high strung puppy but she did great! The first day she stood up in the backseat the whole day and stayed awake half the night in the hotel but after that first 24 hours she settled down, decided everything was okay and was a great traveler. She seemed to love being with us and exploring new places like the rest of us.
